neurolove: This is an image of a bunch of C. elegans expressing GFP in GABAergic neurons from the Hammarlund lab here at Yale.  I think it’s really cool how you can see their neurons so clearly and how consistent they are in appearance (such a simple nervous system)! But with 302 neurons, it’s not too surprising!  For more information about research on C. elegans, see this previous post.
